good girl cultural productions is a blog of socially and spiritually engaged cultural production. Critical, playful and relevant, good girl explores the ways that cool stuff intersects: music, anti-oppression, pop culture, sustainability, spiritual practice, art, social action…
good girl cultural productions is made up of the musings of cultural producer Nikko Snyder. Musician, alternative media mogul, Zen-minded social entrepreneur and hand-me-down hipster, I am interested above all in taking creative action to design and produce the life and world that I dream of.

I had a similar experience the first time i heard Derrick Jensen speak last year hear in Vancouver, and again later that year. I got through A Language Older than Words last winter. It took me a while, but everytime i would go back to it, i would feel less alone. Finally, someone was being honest, i felt relief. Similarly, i had to look at my own life and look at what i was willing to do, and to realize what i was already doing. I really appreciated your article when i read it in Ascent just now and was curious about your writing so i googled you. Thank you for the article, it was comforting to be part of your conversation. I get so annoyed by all the false hope, and the feel good self congratulating for cleaning up messes we made bullshit.
